Living in Madeira is pretty wonderful. But even when you've been here for a while, there are still those things that somehow become much more complicated than they should be.
A delivery that needs someone at the house. Something you can't find anywhere on the island. A repair that needs organising. Family arriving and suddenly there's a list of things to sort out. Or simply a dozen jobs you've been meaning to get around to for the last three months.
That's where I come in. I'm based here and have built up a very useful network of people, places and contacts along the way. I know where to look, who to call and, quite often, the easiest way of getting something sorted.
SHOPPING & SOURCING
Madeira can be brilliant until you're looking for something very specific.
I know where to look, who to ask and who actually delivers to the island. From something you need for the house to a last-minute gift or something you simply can't seem to find anywhere, sometimes knowing where to start makes all the difference.
LIFE ADMIN
Bookings, appointments, phone calls, paperwork, deliveries, collections and all the little things that require someone to actually be there.
Some jobs take five minutes. Others somehow turn into a week of chasing people. Either way, if it's something you don't want to deal with, you don't have to.
SOMETHING SPECIAL
Birthday, anniversary, proposal, family celebration, or simply an excuse to do something lovely.
I know some beautiful spots around the island that most visitors never see, and some of them make the most incredible settings for a proposal, a private dinner or a special evening together.
It could be dinner somewhere completely unexpected, a beautiful setting arranged just for you, or something you've imagined that needs a little imagination and the right people behind it.
The kind of thing you'll still be talking about when you're home.
WHEN YOU JUST NEED SOMEONE WHO KNOWS
Sometimes you don't need a big solution. You just need someone who knows who to call, where to look or how to get something moving.
I've built up a pretty useful network over the years, people I know, trust and can call when something needs sorting. Sometimes that's exactly what you need.
WHY PEOPLE USE ME
You could absolutely do most of these things yourself. And if you've got the time and actually enjoy doing them, go for it.
But if you'd rather spend your Saturday doing something else, don't want to spend an afternoon chasing a delivery or simply have enough on your plate already, that's where I become useful.
You're not paying me because you can't do it. You're paying me because you don't want to spend your time doing it.
