Kellie Silva, Madeira in Style

I’ve spent over two decades working across the UK, the Middle East and now Madeira, supporting private guests in high-end hospitality, events and lifestyle environments where care, discretion and instinct matter.

My early career was rooted in luxury hospitality and event management in the Middle East, working with international brands such as InterContinental and Rotana, as well as running my own boutique events company. Those years shaped how I work, calmly, precisely and with a strong instinct for how something should feel, not just how it should appear.

Alongside that chapter, I founded Fashsquad, one of the early fashion platforms in Qatar. What began as a personal creative outlet grew into a recognised presence within the region, leading to editorial contributions, a regular column in Ahlan magazine, brand partnerships with international houses and features in regional publications including Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. It was an exciting and formative time, one that refined my aesthetic, strengthened my understanding of brand and deepened my love for clothing and personal style.

Fashion has always been part of how I see the world, through detail, atmosphere and the subtle ways in which environment and presentation shape experience.

When I moved to Madeira, I saw both its beauty and its potential. The landscape is extraordinary, yet I felt there was space for a more refined translation of that beauty into high-level hospitality, one that balanced international standards with the island’s natural rhythm

Madeira in Style grew from that space.

Today, I work one-to-one with a small number of guests, shaping stays around how they want to live while they’re here. The homes I work with are locally owned and chosen for their individuality, each one very island in character, with a quiet touch of luxury.

Over time, it felt natural to bring fashion back into the picture in a more tangible way. The dress edit is not a separate venture, but an extension of the same philosophy, thoughtfully chosen pieces made in Portugal and Spain, in limited numbers, designed for slow mornings, long lunches and golden island evenings.

At its heart, Madeira in Style is about care. Listening first. Refining quietly. Creating experiences and pieces that feel effortless because the details have already been considered.
