Before places, plans, or details, I’m interested in you.
The pace that suits you. What you’re craving more of. What you’d happily leave behind. From there, everything starts to take shape.
The homes I work with aren’t presented in the usual way. I collaborate with a small, trusted circle of stylish, locally owned villas across Madeira, design-led, soulful spaces that feel good the moment you walk in.
Each has its own character, beautiful light, and an ease you notice straight away. I don’t showcase them. I match them.
The right place matters. It quietly shapes everything that follows.
From there, the rest of the stay forms naturally around you, your rhythm, your preferences, and what you want this time away to give you.
Some days lean into movement: time in the mountains or along the coast, trail running with someone who truly knows the island, swimming in the sea, or a yoga session that fits easily into the day. Other days ask for something slower, a massage at your villa, time in gardens and green spaces, or a morning painting watercolours with a local artist, simply being there.
If space for conversation feels helpful, life coaching can also be part of your stay, unforced, thoughtful conversations that often come more easily when you’re away from routine and fully present.
Food is approached the same way, with intention, not rules. Some guests enjoy a private chef for a night or two. Others prefer the freedom of well-appointed kitchens, sourcing beautiful local ingredients and keeping things informal, or dining at restaurants I quietly recommend for their atmosphere, consistency, and ease. All of it works.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is overdone.
Just a stay that feels right.
This is how I style it.
Madeira in Style is a personal way of experiencing the island.
